Peter Jordan has worked in digital for ten years. He currently leads the Search, Metadata and Analytics team at the Government Digital Service.

I’m interested in the findability of information and meeting user’s information needs:

  • How search, metadata, ux, information architecture, design, labels and scent of information contribute to the findability of information.
  • How users’ real information needs and intent are expressed in their behaviour – through searching and/or browsing
  • How analytics, including search metrics can provide useful customer insight

Many of the blog entries here are essentially reference notes for me. But I hope they may be of interest to a wider community.
